Los Culuncos o el camino de los Yumbos

El nombre proviene del milenario camino de los YUMBOS, el mismo que unía las zonas subtropicales con la capital, Quito; cargado de historias, mitos y leyendas, este camino conserva en su mayoría su estado natural, y atravieza por impresionantes paisajes de bosques primarios, cascadas montañas para culminar en el la reserva. Los culuncos pasan frente de nuestra finca orgánica y ofrecemos tours de trekking para conocer su belleza y historia.

Los Culuncos or The Yumbo Trail:  The ancient trail begins in northern Quito and passes through the mountains of our lovely organic farm. The trail was once used for trading goods and is currently acknowledged as world heritage. We offer trekking tours to explore the beauty and history of this culture.

LOS YUMBOS: The Yumbos are a pre-colombian group of people who lived in the north-western part of the rich flora and fauna of the cloud forest. They have left behind their ruins demostrating their advanced science, agriculture, and astronomic knowledge.
